MAKE A CIRCULAR PICTURE IN PHOTOSHOP

To make a circular photo in Photoshop:
1. first choose dimensions to make your polar co-ordinate, that is…
2. match the 2 dimensions, choosing the bigger number (e.g. 297, 297)
3. rotate the image so that it’s upside down
4. go to filter> distort> polar co-ordinates
5. check that it is circular (not rectangular)

MAKE A POSTER IN POWERPOINT

Pretend that you are making a poster to advertise an event.

  • Decide the type of event (it does not have to be a real event). It could be a game, a film premiere, an awards ceremony, a presentation.
  • Look for 2 online images: one that will be a landscape  background image and one that will be the head & shoulders of a person (perhaps a famous person but it could be you).
  • Open PowerPoint and create a new presentation.
  • Add the background image first
  • then add the image of the person on top. Use the 'remove background' tool. There are examples below in the SlideShare.
  • Add the name of the event, the location, date and time.

Then complete your TRAILER EDITING ready for our special screening!
